+intvsteve
This is a corner of the hobby where you really need lots of time and patience and access to old materials. Never did check any libraries' card catalogs to see how rigorously they documented magazine contents. As a yoot I bought the usual rags like Electronic Games, et.al. but curtailed purchases if they didn't meet my Intellivision quota. Kinda regret that now, but then there also got to be quite a few, and the selection was limited, being in a small town. These scans are awesome! It looks like quite a few good articles were published... Wonder how much of it was actually thinly veiled marketing material from Mattel. +intvsteve
Somewhere I may still have an Encyclopedia Britannica "Book of the Year" that has one of those stock Mattel Intellivision gameplay pics in it...
IntellivisionDude
These all come from the thread i started earlier. This archive.org site is really awesome and they have a lot of old magazine scans. This one is the TV Gamer magazine that Lathe26 mentioned to me. And they have a lot of Intellivision pictures and articles. https://archive.org/search.php?query=collection%3Atv-gamer-magazine&sort=-publicdate And this ones called Big K. Right in the first issue is an article about Intellivision in Britain possibly disappearing. https://archive.org/search.php?query=collection%3Abig-k-magazine&sort=-publicdate And finally the ones Nebulon mentioned. These magazines have Intellivision content: http://www.digitpress.com/library/magazines/electronic_fun/electronic_fun_nov82.pdf http://www.digitpress.com/library/magazines/electronic_fun/electronic_fun_dec82.pdf http://www.digitpress.com/library/magazines/electronic_games/electronic_games_winter81.pdf http://www.digitpress.com/library/magazines/tv_gamer/tv_gamer_summer83.pdf
IntellivisionDude
Also in that first issue of Big K is a mini review for Intellivision Soccer. That's as far as i gotten just skimming through it.

+intvsteve
November 1983 Cool! Dangit though, not in my collection. Grrrr. If memory serves, my meager earnings were going more into the arcades, records, movie posters (the local monoplex owner auctioned them off... over the phone or in person), and comics, and $3.00 an issue was a lot of money! Curse you, Columbia Record Club!!!!
