Schiggidyd #1 Posted January 31, 2014 Hey everyone, I came across an R8 cart, and 2600 isn't my main console to collect for. Does anyone have a fair value for this game? Here it is..
atari181 #2 Posted January 31, 2014 Around $20-
Atari_Bill #3 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) ...and right out to ebay it went. (for twice + the suggested price I might add) Edited January 31, 2014 by Atari_Bill
Schiggidyd #4 Posted January 31, 2014 (edited) Indeed, that suggested price felt a bit low compared to a CIB ending at $133.5 in auction. Edited January 31, 2014 by Schiggidyd
+boxpressed #5 Posted January 31, 2014 Most of the value of these Xonox games is in the box.
AtariLeaf #6 Posted January 31, 2014 Wow, there's a boxed Colecovision version that went for $690. To the OP, don't know the actual value but our local gamestore has one loose for $60 and it's been there for at least 5 years
Schiggidyd #7 Posted January 31, 2014 Ah alright, I may just keep it. I'm more of a jaguar guy though.

roadrunner #9 Posted January 31, 2014 I'd buy it for $
Thorsten Günther #10 Posted February 2, 2014 I suppose this only is rare in NTSC land. These pop up on eBay Germany fairly often (and I also sold my unboxed copy there, along with two other double-enders, gaining less than 15 Euros for the lot). Mxyzptlk #11 Posted February 2, 2014 Yeah, $20-25 sounds about right. I have a few of these loose and w/o the box they are not worth much unfortunately.
+Andromeda Stardust #12 Posted February 2, 2014 I just think the carts look cool. I got outbid on a Halloween / Texas Chainsaw double ender on eBay once. My max bid was $60; it sold for double that I believe.

About a year or so ago I coulda had one of these double enders for $20 shipped I clicked on it and it ended. pal52 bought it and resold it.
dwh #14 Posted February 3, 2014 Most of the value of these Xonox games is in the box. That is exactly why I never have found a boxed copy!
[email protected] #15 Posted February 5, 2014 I would say hold onto it.. Nice piece though!
grownup #16 Posted February 8, 2014 Perhaps the reason why a boxed copy is worth so much, is because the game's awkard size makes it difficult to store along side all the other normal sized carts. I have the Ghost Manor / Spikes peak game. Schiggidyd , where did you find your copy? ....thrifting, dumperster diving, ...... very curious

He was selling off lots of stuff, so I grabbed it because I knew some Xonox games were unique. By the way, It did end up selling for 70 to a happy buyer.
