ThreepwoodMac
I'm selling a bundle of Atari and Intellivision-related games for the PC. Two compilations of 2600 games, one anothology of Intellivision games, and three contemporary remakes of your old favories with 3D graphics. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FPC-games-lot-arcade-simulations-retro-classics-Atari-Intellivision-sealed-%2F141186973493%3F Also, feel free to have a peruse around the rest of my store. I'm selling other PC games, Super Nintendo, N64 memorabilia, some digital cameras, and a bunch of knick-knacks. Something to please everyone. ckblackm
I know the intellivision compilations (I have a couple) are basically an emulator with roms included. Is that the way the Atari ones work?
ThreepwoodMac
I haven't played or opened them, but I'm guessing that's the case.
+FujiSkunk
Yes, the Activision Action Packs were actually among the first commercially-released Atari 2600 emulators. Random trivia: Back in the day I owned the Macintosh version of the first pack. Somebody discovered the 2600 ROM images were in each program's resource fork (remember those, Macphiles?), and therefore you could easily swap in any 2600 game you wanted. Most bank-switching games didn't work, but pretty much all of the 2K and 4K games did.
