8-bit ports

Recommended Posts

Which titles for the 2600 do you wish were ported to the 8-bit home computers?

I know many Atari, Activision and Imagic games wound up on the 8-bit, but are there any that make you wonder how they would look on the 8-bit?

Solaris

Dragonfire

Ghostbusters II

As for Activision ports of 2600 games we know exactly what they'd look like since they didnt change much between the 2 ;)

Mountain King.

Yeah, I know it was "ported" to a bunch of machines. I had it for the C64 but somehow it just wasn't as playable as the 2600 version. It was like stiffer or something. I guess what I'm saying is, I wish they'd ported the fun ;)

The original version was written for the 8-bit Atari computers. The 2600 version is good, but it feels like crawling through molasses if you've been playing the original.
