Punisher5.0 #152 Posted April 24, 2014 Man I missed this one too. The PSU for my Jagcd died so I havent played this one for a couple of years. Just checked the high score list and my best is enough for 8th. Not bad but I know I can do better than that.

ggn #159 Posted July 14, 2014 From what we had posted on our website and other sources: Downfall for Amiga by Remainder software for Amiga OCS & AGA. DownFall (Down To Hell?) by Alain Brobecker & Carl Olsson for Windows. Fahrfall by John W. Linville for the CoCo 1/2. Gówno spadaj¹ce w dó³ (sorry, some chars couldn't be copied ok) on Atari 800 by Koala released at Grzybsoniada 2012 Jump! by Xuel for the Atari 800, written in 10 lines of Turbo Basic code (just to make us all feel inadequate ) and of course the original Man Goes Down by Alex Herbert for the Atari 2600. Not shown here is another version for the Atari 800 (which looks FANTASTIC I might add) made by an AA member, and is WIP, sorry . And the beat goes on: Donkey Downfall by Michael Gibs/Resistance (Youtube).

linville #161 Posted July 14, 2014 If there are any CoCo/Dragon fans out there, I will note that I am currently back to work on Fahrfall. I've made a number of improvements, with hopes of putting together a cartridge release before it's all over. +CyranoJ #162 Posted July 14, 2014 Fantastic I'm especially keen on following this as my very first computer experience was with a Dragon 32. I really wanted one of my own. Thank goodness, my parents had the common sense to get an Atari 800 instead! If there are any CoCo/Dragon fans out there, I will note that I am currently back to work on Fahrfall. ovalbugmann #163 Posted October 31, 2014 (edited) Hi! guys and much thanks to: CJ & SH3 of Reboot as well as GGN, Zerosquare, Tyrant and Fredifredo, Didn't feel a whole new thread was necessary for a thank you, so I posted here real quick so you guys would see it, hope that's OK? I have recently made a few Skunk ROMs using the "QUAKE" picture display utility released on reboot's site with some of my favorite pictures and its great!- a real compliment to a cinepak CD, I'm really enjoying it. It took me a few times making test roms to get the right balance between ROM space usage and picture quality but I have several skunk pic roms (yes, some are girly nudies! lolz! - gettin' my JagPorn on!! haha-pun intended) now that are 4MB big with nice 20 nice quality pictures on each 4MB rom. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to adjust the preset picture quality of 80% to my desired 100% quality by altering the; dosbox-0.74.conf file since it can't be done directly - I right click copied the whole config file then pasted it to a plain .txt file made my change from 80 to 100 percent quality and then saved the file and renamed it .conf and put it back in place. I'm getting some very nice quality pictures with that setting. At first I had too few pictures and QUAKE was making 1MB roms then I had too many pics and QUAKE was making 6MB roms so I like 4MB files with 20 HD pics on it so I can fit two roms per skunkboard. Quake is Very Very nice work. Thank You to everyone mentioned above and all involved. I'm going to be making some more picture ROMS for the skunk - may even try it on an official Atari flash cart I have. Its awesome to have this utility, much appreciated. Also, I have revisited the reboot utility: "CD Encryptor Skunkboarded!" - another great Reboot utility. I have recently been trying to remember how to make a good video quality Cinepak CD and then encrypt it. I have only ever encrypted 3 cds in my life - a few years ago with my 3 cd "night of the living dead" PD movie Halloween Cinepak release which CJ and Sh3 and ggn helped me with but I forgot how to do JagCD encrypting too, damn. But I have it worked out now and have encrypted two cinepak CDs I made recently. I got an error or two, since it's a lot for the program on the Jag to process without a hiccup from the JagCD. I felt the Jag CD was getting real hot, so I put a fan in front of the Jaguar CD player as the program was doing its hash tables calculations as stuff and that seemed to make the JagCD able to get thru all 747MB of video data to be encrypted - it took a loooooong time!. It sent the ggn.key or is it key.ggn I think to my C:\skunk folder then I swapped that for my HOLDER.RAW file on the unencrypted version burning folder of the cinepak cd and burned it all to another second CD. I only recently bought a Windows 7 computer last year, I really like Windows 7. And the final program to be run PADCD (on key.gnn) would not run on Win7 64-bit OS so I had to take it to my 32-bit Windows XP Home computer (now sitting unused most of the time) and put the files in a folder and clicked PADCD and finally got the actual file to be used on the encrypted CD! in place of HOLDER.RAW. Thanks so much for all your work and help Reboot and Jagware guys, it's really cool to be able to do this stuff on the JagCD -I wouldn't have been able to do it without my friends here!!! I know this is all no big deal, but its still nice to be able to do stuff like this and feel the sense of accomplishment and technical prowess, lol haha!! Finally, I got a couple of unencrypted Halloweenish PD movies I had made a few years back (no HOLDER.RAWs on them) before I got sick with the 3 months of insomnia and it's devastating consequences that I would like to upload for peeps now, but I haven't decided if I should,.. I don't want to cause any waves in case someone finds something they don't like about the movies. Now that I have figured all this out, again! I need to help my buddy here; Saturn, out with some requested cinepak files and burning tools he needs. Peace out, oval Edited October 31, 2014 by ovalbugmann

Peace out, oval It's a big deal to me I tried to download the 3 disk release from the old link a while back and was disappointed they were removed. I would certainly like to have them so here's at least one vote for making them available again Your post is invaluable and much appreciated. I like the way you detail your process. Very helpful imo. I'll be testing out a few things this weekend so keep an eye out for more posts Thanks again Oval

Rick Dangerous #167 Posted January 22 I was playing some downfall+ tonight and noticed it said "jagpad" up in the top left on the menu screen. Is there a certain button combination to activate the rotary controller option?
