Greg2600 #6 Posted March 4, 2014 Really really cool update to Pitfall! Too bad it's not on a console rom! Only critique is that the Zelda sound effect is kind of out of place.
ACFinPGH #7 Posted March 11, 2014 I've been obsessed with Pitfall lately...going to have to give this a whirl soon.
Rik #8 Posted March 15, 2014 Cool, very impressed. Only thing is, isn't there supposed to be music while playing the game? At control screen, it shows TO TOGGLE letter " M " for music, and in red letters it says " MUSIC OFF " I press " M " and just the jungle sound goes of, but no music in game anyone know, thanx. +Random Terrain #10 Posted March 15, 2014 Since it was made with Multimedia Fusion 2, can you make it work online instead of needing to download it?
Aloan #11 Posted June 16, 2014 Really really cool update to Pitfall! Too bad it's not on a console rom! Only critique is that the Zelda sound effect is kind of out of place. I know, I was on a hurry to make it sound good, until I find some other sound, lol
Aloan #12 Posted June 16, 2014 Since it was made with Multimedia Fusion 2, can you make it work online instead of needing to download it? well they got this plugin called Vitalize which I guess is not supported now? then they got this other plugin in Flash which i would have to buy. And I guess the experience is better on your own pc using it's power!

+wongojack #17 Posted September 10, 2014 Btw Cliffall has moved to here: update your links! http://bit.ly/1iZL3VF just click on the icon with the Atari 2600 controller! This link now gives me a security warning at work. I have only seen a warning like this 2x in the 8 years I've worked here. We have no whitelist or blacklist and pretty much have free rein on the internet. Something on that site must be very bad to get our attention. I had downloaded the game earlier and came back to comment after finally playing it. It seems very fun. I've only played through to where you reunite a certain baby bird with its mother, and I want more. I'd really love if someone would give HERO this same treatment. That game is begging for an update. Aloan #19 Posted December 5, 2014 http://aloan.site90.net/cliffall.html Here's an updated version. It's looking sweet! at least the resolution is the max Atari 2600's! (160x192) (I know it's color clocks, lol)
+wongojack #20 Posted December 5, 2014 I still get a security warning from your site. Perhaps you could include the file in a post?
magikarpow #21 Posted December 6, 2014 My computer doesn't like it. The game looks sweet, though! Keep it up!
Zap! #22 Posted December 7, 2014 Great game. Will you be making it joystick compatible? Also, any way to make the screen not full screen? My monitor is too high-rez so unfortunately it looks a little pixelated.

Aloan #24 Posted January 16, 2018 (edited) Let the Drums roll.... so years have passed and I decided to upgrade Cliffall to an M.A.M.E.-like game! yes! Coin operated Arcade-like!!!!! The game has gotten the treatment it deserved (double the resolution horizontally and arcade vertical resolution 224 pixels) and countless months of math to reposition everything + redrawing all the sprites and at the same time transforming them to a brand new game called Akeni.... This is a one-man did it all over 3 years game! It can be seen here: http://aloan.site90.com/akeni.html and you can download the demo, full playable 1st level - direct download here: http://aloan.site90.com/akeni_demo.zip By the way I also teach what I do here: http://aloan.site90.com/retrofun.html Edited January 16, 2018 by Aloan
thetick1 #25 Posted January 16, 2018 (edited) Yikes what is with the crazy white bat that shows up for less than a second. It's from nowhere and kills me ? Anyway pretty cool game. The swimming music is bit odd. I really like the music when game starts. Thanks for sharing. Edited January 16, 2018 by thetick1
