Any success with non-Best gold plated controller upgrades?

Just curious. I've recently noticed other entities besides Best Electronics offering gold plated upgrades for 5200 controllers and so I wanted to poll the forum if anyone else here have had good luck with such products...

Most of the ones I've seen were supplied through Best's. I like the newer gold contact buttons, but get longer life from the regular flex circuits.
