Armonigann #1 Posted March 5, 2014 Hello all, I've been a member for quite some time now, and decided to buy a couple of homebrews for my 7800..(Moon Cresta, and Scramble)..planned on buying even more depending on how this transaction went...anyways, I've already paid through Paypal, and was prompted that I would receive an email but to no avail..I purchased these on 3/1 and even sent a pm to the store but no response.. My question is, how long, after you purchase a product do you usually get notification that it is shipped? Also, who may I contact if I get no response from store? Sorry for being such a noob, about using the store, but I really want this transaction to be quick and smooth if possible, as Ive been burnt before buying from other sites... Thanks anyone so much for your help! -Armon
Albert #2 Posted March 5, 2014 Hi Armon, I try to ship orders within a week, as stated on the shipping page in the store (although I understand many people will not see this). You placed your order late in the evening on March 2nd, which was less than three days ago. The games are generally built to order, and I try to do them in batches. You will receive an email notification with tracking as soon as your package has shipped. I should have your games out tomorrow or Friday at the latest. I did respond right away to the message you sent, about an hour after you sent it. It's possible the email was marked as spam, though, so you could try checking your spam folder to see if it's there. Here's the email I sent: The same is true of the email sent from the store when you placed your order--your mail provider probably flagged it as spam also (this happens frequently with Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail). Take care, ..Al
Armonigann #3 Posted March 5, 2014 Oh, ok thank you very much Al, all my questions are now answered... Thanks again, -Armon
Albert #4 Posted March 5, 2014 You're welcome. I'm curious if you're able to find those messages sent by the store and me. Otherwise, the same thing will happen to the shipping confirmation email once that is sent. Take care! ..Al
eightbit #5 Posted March 5, 2014 I have ordered from the store dozens of times. Albert runs a professional operation. You need never worry when it comes to ordering from the AA store.
Chris Leach #6 Posted March 5, 2014 I have bought a couple games from the Atariage store and you know what really chaps my hiney? The damn things always show up faster than I ordered them and the packing is always in these cute little annoying boxes that fit the product so we'll that there's no room for any errors and I'm always eased with my purchase so I wanna buy even more. Now I gotta tell ya I don't know this Al (or shall we call him Laddy? Aladdin pun there) character but man does he so things right the first time around! Thanks to Al and the AA community. I love you guys! And gals!
bomberpunk #7 Posted March 5, 2014 Al runs the store (building carts, printing & affixing labels, filling orders, packaging, shipping orders) completely alone and this is not his day job. considering that, the AA store ships lightning-fast. one exception was the 2011 Boulder Dash pre-order, that took 8+ months but again it WAS a pre-order. i remember getting that package in June and it was like Christmas in Ju...June. Didn't we wait longer for Adventure II? I'm not complaining it's an awesome cart and worth the wait. AL has always been top notch. My only complaint is I'm currently selling my Adventure II carts
