Der Luchs
Hi folks, Nognir was asking about a racing Game for the Vectrex in another Forum. We talked about the upcoming Homebrews: NOX and Death Race. So to shorten the waiting time of these games, I've started to code my own Mini-Racing-Game with VecVox Support for sure ^^ It will be probably finished on Friday evening or Saturday. I will share it as a free Download Version, so stay tuned :-) To show you, that there are only some "make-up" things left and the missing of one or maybe two enemy cars, I made a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPNaAs0QTKc

vectrexroli
Just tested it, fun little game. I like that the Speech synthesizer is used for sound effects and I also like the music. Great!

ComputerSpaceFan
Finally got to playing this. Super fun. I highly recommend the Vectrexians overlay to use with it. One question: can you accelerate or decelerate? It seems like the answer is no but I thought I better ask.
Der Luchs
Nope, that "feature" will be in VECFAHREN 2000

Der Luchs
LMAO! I'm a real genius in coping Games that I don't know After the first shock, it isnt a Vectrex Game ^^ @50TBRD: See, a port
50TBRD
@Der Luchs, I see. I've seen Vipe Ut before. A "devolved" game modeled after the Vectrex. The box even had sticker residue and artificial wear. I'd like to see where Vecfahren 2000 goes. I saw a arcade game yesterday that actually reminds me of Brecher.

Der Luchs
@50TRD: As you see, I'm porting the whole time Great Idea for Brecher 2, using a Character besides just a Aim ^^ Oh and by the way, this is the Brecher Checklist, how it looks like (Sended to me by some ppl): Cabal Operation Wolf Battle Mission Veteran ^^ @Retroillucid: Thanks Edited May 23, 2014 by Der Luchs
pedalpowered
The file is no longer available on Der Luchs site and I can't find it anywhere else on the web, including archive.org. Is it meant to only be available on the Madtronix multicart now? My son would absolutely love this game.
pedalpowered
I found the file using the WayBack Machine. I don't know why I didn't think of that before.
