What NES games are you guys currently playing? Right now I'm addicted to good ol' Tetris, been playing a lot of Galaga too. Though I just scored a gold cartridge Zelda II, so that's gonna be played soon.

I've yet to find those hidden "Wanted" posters throughout the game. Eventually, if it drives me crazy enough, I'll have to look it up ....

Must be in the air. I've been replaying Zelda II as well. I took another crack at Castlevania this past weekend as well... still can't beat the Reaper - although I got him down to one life unit....

I got Castlevania 1 and 2 for $0.99 each, because they're untested, so I'll eventually get around to cleaning and testing them. How in blazes you get that damned candle?

Hm. RC pro am. It's my go to NES game. I rarely play anythign else, though occasionally Batman gets some play for nostalgia's sake.

The Flintstones - Sorpresa al Picco del Dinosauro (NES)

 

This is the Italian version of The Flintstones - The Surprise at Dinosaur Peak. I had this game for the NES for over 8 years now at its pretty fun. Its like the Dino & Hoppy gameplay version and Barney is a changeable character to help Fred! Cute game.

In order to get the candle you have to go through the cave toward the northeast (I think) and go into the first dungeon. I've always "loved" that you have to go through a dark cave in order to get an item that keeps you from having to go through dark caves.

 

As for games I've been playing: Alter Ego. It's a homebrew puzzle game that's pretty fun. I've also been trying to get through Batman.

I can't seem to NOT play this. Every time I get the NES out, I want to play this game. I still play on my original copy from BiTD

 

I also found myself playing Commando and High Speed recently.
