MrFish #26 Posted April 4, 2019 Here's a dump I just did of a 400/800/XL cart I got a few years ago. SUPPOSEDLY this is a bug free 8-bit version. File compare says it's the same as the one I posted.
jaybird3rd #27 Posted April 4, 2019 Here's a dump I just did of a 400/800/XL cart I got a few years ago. SUPPOSEDLY this is a bug free 8-bit version. I just tried it, and it also seems to have the messed-up sound as in the video I posted earlier. Thanks anyway, and thanks to MrFish for the file version! I seem to remember having trouble loading that one from a DOS boot disk on real hardware, but I might be thinking of a different version.
MrFish #28 Posted April 4, 2019 ...and thanks to MrFish for the file version! I seem to remember having trouble loading that one from a DOS boot disk on real hardware, but I might be thinking of a different version. I just played the file version on real hardware via SIO2PC, from a DOS 2.5 disk, and just as an XEX from RespeQt's executable loader. Bother worked fine, and (the reason why I posted this) it has sound like you hear on the 5200 version. The reason why I posted the cartridge version is just to show that it's the version being played in the video that you posted.
