Computer games you want on the ColecoVision

In the same spirit as the other recent thread "Arcade games you want on the ColecoVision", here's your chance to name some home computer games you would like to see on the CV. No Atari 2600/5200/7800, no Intellivision, no NES or any other console please. Just home computers.

Let's try to keep the arcade ports out of the equation please. This would be a good opportunity to list some hidden gems you remember from the Apple II, Vic-20, Commodore 64, Coco-2, TI-99/4A, ZX Spectrum, etc. which you believe the ColecoVision could handle in terms of graphics, sounds and general gameplay.

By the way, feel free to list some MSX games if you want, but we've seen enough talk about MSX ports in recent years that we could do without it here. I'd like this thread to be about games for home computers other than MSX.

I'll start with a few:

- Parsec (TI-99/4A)

- Time Bandit (Coco-2 and other computers)

- Head Over Heels (ZX Spectrum)

- Downland (Coco-2)

- Atic Attack (ZX Spectrum)

- Impossible Mission (Commodore 64)

- Knightlore (ZX Spectrum)

EDIT: How could I forget "Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards" (IBM PC)? :)

I have one that I may attempt to make if no one else does which is

Conan - Hall of Volta for apple 2

I also think

Time Bandit

Check out my video of the ultra rare Sanyo Mbc 550 version of this in 8 colour graphics.

Hey, you forgot to list the ADAM Computer in your list of computers to draw games from! We already know that the ColecoVision can handle the graphics and sound of ADAM games, so that much would be a given. ;)

I'll say ADAM Bomb II by Steve Pitman, Temple of the Snow Dragon by Digital Adventures, The Vase of Turr by Walters Software Co., Diablo by Image MicroCorp and Electronic Game Pack II (love me some Dodge'Em) by Ape Software.

I could not tell you how many time people asked me to make Oregon Trail !!!

At first, I was, WTF with this game?

That was until a friend told me that almost everyone in US played this game at high school

From where I am, our high school game was Where is Carmen Sandiego

M.U.L.E.

Archon

Aztec

Dung Beetles aka Mega Bug

Montezuma's Revenge

Elite - Ok, maybe not Elite. Wireframe graphics might be a stretch for the system and I think that one is a memory hog

*edit*

WOW, post #7 was the last one on the list when I typed this up. I guess I shouldn't have left it sitting around so long before posting it.

Necromancer (Atari 8-bit) would definitely be doable - very nice game that one.

Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein would definitely be doable as well, played them both on the Apple II when I went to college.

So add these three to my list to call dibs on :)

But as I have said before they will be after the three titles I am working on now (all which I am slowly making more progress on - need more hours in the day/less kids/more beer or something like that).

The Atari 8-bit version of Demon Attack would be nice though, mmm.
