youki #27 Posted March 24, 2014 oula... too much i would love to see on colecovision. But if i think game that are fun and easy to port to coleco. They would be : Mr Robot (c64) Space Taxi (c64) Infernal Runner (c64) (not the amstrad CPC version!) and MUST have the same Music Theme! Le Mans (c64) Sorcery (Amstrad CPC , c64, Msx. etc...) Realm of impossibility (c64)
CoLethalVision #28 Posted March 24, 2014 (edited) Power Drift (C64) - had some great music too. Super Cycle (C64) The Last Ninja (C64) - also had great music. To Hell and Back (C64) I have no idea if any of these are doable on CV. Some might be suitable for SGM? Edited March 24, 2014 by CoLethalVision

LynxVGL #30 Posted March 24, 2014 I totally agree on the original EA games (MULE, Archon, Seven Cites of Gold) but have to throw Star Raiders into the mix. The CV keypad could finally get good use in a game. Blockade Runner (shudder) shows us that it is technically possible...
Manoau2002 #31 Posted March 24, 2014 Necromancer (Atari 8-bit) would definitely be doable - very nice game that one. Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein would definitely be doable as well, played them both on the Apple II when I went to college. So add these three to my list to call dibs on But as I have said before they will be after the three titles I am working on now (all which I am slowly making more progress on - need more hours in the day/less kids/more beer or something like that). The Atari 8-bit version of Demon Attack would be nice though, mmm. I had to look up Castle Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein. I knew they were different from Wolfenstein 3d I played when I was younger. Beyond Castle Wolfenstein looks like a really fun game that would work well on the colecovision. I might have to try it out in an emulator.
frank_c #32 Posted March 24, 2014 Eagerly awaiting Space Taxi. Castle Wolfenstein Bruce Lee Impossible Mission? Too much for a CV w/SGM?
Pixelboy #33 Posted March 24, 2014 I recall an old PC game called Sorcerian which I played quite a lot. The way the game's engine works, it could be done as tiles only on the ColecoVision, with little sprite usage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7VnokcpRR0
+Ransom #34 Posted March 24, 2014 It'd be nice to have Tunnels of Doom on the CV.

+retrogmr #36 Posted March 24, 2014 - Crossfire by Sierra (multiple platforms, but the C64 version is the definitive one IMO) - Telengard by Avalon Hill (multiple platforms, but either the Atari 800 port or C64 port are awesome)
CrazyBoss #37 Posted March 24, 2014 If the CV could have a new super game module, with a Yamaha 9958 (which is used in MSX2+), could have a nice game like SpaceManBow, this game is the best 8bit game I ever saw!
Bill Loguidice #38 Posted March 24, 2014 - Telengard by Avalon Hill (multiple platforms, but either the Atari 800 port or C64 port are awesome) It's already on the Adam, though not a particularly inspired port in my opinion. Of the ones not already mentioned, I'd throw both "Mancopter" and "Raid on Bungeling Bay" for the C-64 in there, two of my favorite classic games. There were MSX and NES ports of "Raid on Bungleing Bay" with some not-necessarily-for-the-better changes, but "Mancopter" was a C-64 exclusive.
playazclub #39 Posted March 24, 2014 I definitely would love to see an oregon trail and Maniac Mansion as well.
coleconut #41 Posted March 24, 2014 Mr Robot (c64) When I got Fireman with some other stuff, included was a cart that said "Mr Robot 1984 unfinished" but alas when I put it in my CV, it didn't work. Realizing that the eproms were in upside down, I switched them around 180% on the board and voila - it was Frenzy. But that prototype might still be floating around...somewhere.

NIAD #44 Posted March 24, 2014 Whoever said Dino Eggs and I am in too.... I think that game is so brilliant and so unknown by so many!! It was actually announced for the ColecoVision by MicroFun and was a game that I was really looking forward to see released.

chuckwalla #46 Posted March 25, 2014 Space Taxi and Jumpman are both in development They will be DX (Deluxe) version for ColecoVision Great list and better news! I'll add Bandits from the C64 - one of my all-time favorite shooters and still play it regularly (on VICE though).

65Gamerguy #48 Posted March 25, 2014 What about Bounty Bob strikes back? I don't recall much about the game except that it didn't get released for the CV. Was it any good to begin with? I am just asking because I like Miner 2049er although it is difficult as hell on the CV compared to other versions.
sega_SHARK #49 Posted March 25, 2014 Super Demon Attack. With the floating vampire head and the orange spaceship and the planet in the background.
Bill Loguidice #50 Posted March 25, 2014 Huh? You're right, I had a brain fart and was thinking of Temple of Apshai. Telengard was not released for the Adam, though I imagine it would have been better than Temple of Apshai turned out. I'm actually surprised no one ever attempted to port the Apple II version since the BASICs are fairly similar.
