I bought one of these recently, actually my first device from retro HQ, I know it's the only SNK device James does, but I will be snapping up the others in time! 

 

The pocket has an awesome library, like a nicer gbc. Most of the games did get released here in Europe but some can be a bit pricey especially with the European boxing. This helps alleviate that price+rarity issue. If you don't have a pocket yet, try it out. They even have the clicky controls!

I agree, James from RetroHQ does amazing work. He come by on the thread here to say hello and likes to share his NGP(C) information with us. He a swell and bright guy. His products are amazing, besides the Neo Geo Pocket FlashDrive, his Lynx version is another well made and worthwhile item to buy as well. You'll enjoy that for sure. :)

 

And so true, the pocket is such a fantastic handheld unit. So many entertaining titles that newcomers and longtime players will surely enjoy passing the time playing them.  Glad that you share the interest on it. It's a shame it's not back lit, but with the mod kit that's being offered off the internet, it's a great option to have and I highly recommend installing it on any ones unit. Well worth the investment on doing so.

Too bad the NGPC had such a short life span.  It was really a good little handheld and it would have been nice to have seen what content they could have developed for it.  But, as Rick Blaine once said, "We will always have Paris".
