I have no idea why my ebay seller of both AES systems didn't have or include the original USA bios chips. Because ebay automatically deletes old messages from 2+ years ago now, I have no way of contacting him to ask if he had those laying around.

 

An original USA AES bios by itself seems to be impossible to find for sale due to the system's rarity in this region so I probably have to settle for a burned one. But now I know not to buy any of the MVS bios chips on ebay.

I dont have the CD version though, I have the original as shown in the first video.

 

It actually doesn't sound that different from the CD version, they did a good job with the carts quality.

Thats a very nice looking metal slug book, I think the art is metal slug is some of the best looking art on any video game ever....

 

What metal slug game do you guys think has the best visuals? I really think metal slug 3 has some gorgeous ocean art!

Glad you like the book Zack I have it in the collection and think it's well worth the investment for it.  

 

I thought Metal Slug 5 on the Neo-Geo was the best looking version Zack. I also thought it had the best music from the series over all. Still would like to buy it and the rest of the Metal Slug games on the Neo-Geo AES in general. But those prices are just so outrageous.

Magician lord 3D action game, Shocktroopers TPS, Spin Master or Blues journey 3D platformer rpg, 3D Blazing Star, a new entry into art of fighting it fatal fury (bring back the multi plane!), First person rpg crossed swords or a secret spy fps.

 

I feel like since 2000 they have been "stuck" so to speak, and recently they got a large flood of cash from the new owner so it makes even less sense now imo.

Yeah Leeroy, since the original SNK folded in 2001, SNK has been just going with the flow and finding trends that are able to earn money by just hardly getting by. Glad that the new owners of SNK wants to make it major competitor again Leeroy. But as of now, they just seem to stick with King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and Samurai Shodown. Nothing wrong on using those franchises, but if they really want to expand, they have to make brand new franchises from the ground up.
