It's not nearly that expensive, though... although it was still expensive. 60000 yen, I think, but I forgot. I actually bought Legend of Success Joe *because* everyone said it was the worst game on the system. I just like experiencing games like that. This was many years ago so it was a lot cheaper then but it still cost about 10 times as much as FFS. I do wonder if it's worse than those quiz and Mahjong games I've never played though?? I actually read it was quite popular (at least not unpopular) in Japanese arcades at the time of release but that was probably because of the license and maybe that popularity faded fast! I dont recall it being in demand over the years. I originally got it way back and forgot about it finally replaying it recently, and understanding why it was put away for years. Honestly I got it because the name seemed silly to me and it said "success" right on the box. I was expecting a mediocre but fun experience. Well. I do have to admit that the Story Mode discussing Joe's rise to the top was pretty interesting Leeroy. The intro looked nice and the artwork was like the manga. That's amazing to know you purchased it when it was way cheaper than it is now. I remember paying pennies on the Dollar for it because of the games reputation at the time. However, being released in 1994 and not until 1996 in NA really made it a bit DOA.
