The overall atmosphere and gameplay is a big departure from the previous two games in the series, but it stands out with it's high quality graphics and animation, along with innovative gameplay." I grew up mostly on Capcom fighting games, but I enjoy Neo Geo fighters more, mainly because they are much more challenging and I like that every fighting series has it's own style and mechanics that are different from one another. So many common features in fighting games today can trace their roots to Neo Geo fighters and they deserve lots of credit for it. Zap! #1930 Posted November 8, 2015 Hi Zap! Thank you for the notification on the 25th anniversary of the Neo-Geo here in the United States Ter. Your personal history with this unit never fails to amaze me that you're part of video game history. Seeing that you have a precious piece of memorabilia with the original white box, ,controllers, unmodified, and a serial number so low at 011604, makes it more valuable on the market! A unit like this, is truly irreplaceable and seeing that you're the original owner for the past 25 years makes this a great Neo Geo owner story that needs the respect and recognition that it deserves. Thank you for taking the time and showing us your Neo-Geo AES. PLEASE, don't sell this unit Its a fantastic piece of history. Thank you for the past issues of your works that you provided for me. I still read them and amazing how much dedication that you provided to the community with it! Anthony... Thank you sooo so much for the kind words! Thanks again, and yes, I will never sell it! https://www.facebook.com/zapclassicvideogaming/

Project C.O.E. #1933 Posted November 9, 2015 Just one last head's up. I know I'm plugging my channel, but whatever haha. Tomorrow at: https://www.youtube.com/user/ProjectCOEI make my glorious return to the Neo Geo. I will have Neo Geo reviews going up once a week, every Wednesday, for the rest of the year, and most likely all the way until February or so. Tomorrow I have an updated video on the Analogue Interactive CMVS that I've been asked about for the past six months or so. I hope you all enjoy

fdurso224 #1937 Posted November 10, 2015 (edited) Hi guys, Back again with Ronnie from White Boy Gaming. This morning, Ronnie is playing Sengoku 2 for the MVS. Personally, the 2nd installment of the Sengoku series is my favorite out of the series. It has an equal amount of quality in every aspect of what a brawling game should be for its time. Sengoku is long overdue for a new title in modern beat'em up gaming. This title truly represents what the Neo-Geo had to offer in 1993 and what the "pre-100th Mega Shock" had before the Neo-Geo boom with Samural Shodown. From the description, "Sengoku 2 Arcade (1993) Playthrough! Really cool beat'em up! Wasn't too fond of the first Sengoku but the third game looks even better. I'll be playing that game soon! Sengoku 2, fully titled Sengoku Denshō 2 in Japan, is a beat 'em up arcade game. It is the second game of the Sengoku trilogy by SNK. It was ported to the Neo Geo and Neo Geo CD consoles. -" Anthony... Edited November 10, 2015 by fdurso224
NeoTurboManiac #1938 Posted November 10, 2015 Hey guys. I've had some issues with my Neo Geo memory card. After I play a game, I am able to save my game and load it afterwards, but if I power off my system, my save data is gone. Has this happened to anyone else? Can anyone recommend a place where I can get my memory card repaired? I'd rather not spend money on a new card, because I am afraid this might happen again. Thanks

Can anyone recommend a place where I can get my memory card repaired? I'd rather not spend money on a new card, because I am afraid this might happen again. Thanks Hi Neo, Just like Charlie mention, you'll most likely need to replace the battery inside your memory card to bring it back to usable working condition for your saving process. Have no fear, its a common concern with these cards and simple process to do. To help you with your process, I reverted to one of our pages here on the thread and found lukemorse1's video on how to repair/replace the battery in the Neo-Geo card. I hope this video will be helpful and informative for you to get your memory card active once more. From his description, "If you are getting error problems with your Neo-Geo Memory card or it won't work, try this simple battery replacement repair to have your card back on the road to working agian ;D" Anthony... Project C.O.E. #1946 Posted November 11, 2015 Thanks Anthony for the kind words I've got a few surprises in store for everyone in the coming weeks. I always try to cover games that most others ignore, or often overlook. That's not quite true for next week though haha, but you'll see that when you look back at the next 12 reviews or so that many of the games covered haven't had much coverage over the past decade or so. Spinmaster is a prime example of that. I hope you all enjoy the continuing Neo Geo coverage, and be sure to recommend some games you'd like to see me cover in upcoming episodes.

fdurso224 #1949 Posted November 12, 2015 Hi guys, This evening, were back with snkneogeoman doing what he does best. Playing Neo-Geo titles. Here's a video playing SVC Chaos for the Playstation 2 with a well done review from him. From the description, "Oh, lordy, where have I been!! I take a look at the Playstation 2 port of this Neo Geo game. This game suffers from being arcade perfect. That may sound weird, but this game should've had a character roster boost, gameplay tweaks and an arrange soundtrack." Anthony...
