So true Serguei. They missed out on the Gear Gear. SNK could've  done really well on that handheld unit.

Just popping in here while I'm waiting for my mega.nz file allotment to reset so I can try out the atomiswave/dc faster than speed--it's one of the two I've *really* been looking forward to.

 

About a month ago I modded my ngpc with one of those aliexpress IPS screens w/glass bezel. And while being a little smaller, it is still *TOTALLY* worth it. So much so that I ordered a GBA one that hasn't come in yet.  My battery life is just nuts, close to, if not at 20hrs, assuming the hour count is correct on card fighters clash.  This should keep me occupied until the analogue pocket and it's NGPC adapter comes out.

 

though I bought the mod itself from china, I also ordered console5's 3d-printed spacer to take the guesswork out of placing it. They have one for standard ngpc and another one for the slim.

 

Sorry about the glare along the top, looks like I didn't tilt the camera quite enough, but it is very bright and clear.

Nope, but the IPS screen upgrade sure does

 

I'm also thinking of doing a GBC screen upgrade, but the GBA one I ordered makes that less relevant, I suppose. Not to mention what the analogue pocket will do to all of them. I also had my Lynx done last year. The lynx was just too much modding for these hands to do, so I called in the pros. (-^Cro§Bow^-)

That's really cool that you shared this with us Reaper. Liking the end results for sure. I also one from Aliexpress and still waiting for it to arrive. Now I really want it installed on one of the NGPC units. This really is encouraging for me to do so now. Thank you Reaper as alawys for coming by and posting away with us.
