The game's almost a quarter of a century old and people are still trotting this out like it's fact, implying that they've not even tested it On a character's birthday they get a 20% damage buff, nothing more. You still need to lose 80%+ health to perform an SDM

I'm not sure if this got posted yet or not, but CastleMania has the HD Retrovision Neo Geo adaptor. Use it with the HD Retrovision Genesis cable to put the RGB signal of your Neo Geo AES or CD in through component inputs. This got discontinued I think last year and sold out, so here's another chance to get it if you want it (you do want it).

I can just about transliterate the Arabic text on the headers! Also, noticed there is AES boxes on the top. It'd be curious to know what the market share was in the middle East in the 90s, I'd be surprised if Neo geo didn't perform really well due to lack of interest generally with gaming at the time, meaning more dedicated players going for the good stuff.

That's great that you can Mike. I always wanted to learn a new language. I tried Spanish and Japanese, always struggled and know just the bare basics. But I still try. 

 

Yeah Mike, I've been curious about what the market share was for the Neo-Geo out there for years. Sadly, I found hardly any info regarding it. Maybe some documents and pics will become available after the recent news of of The Crown Prince as the new share holder. If this hoto became available, maybe more will be coming out of the woodworks soon after.

I have my fingers crossed that more will be coming out of the woodworks after The Crown Prince announcement as it's newest shareholder.  This is like finding lost treasure to me since it's been taken me decades to find Neo-Geo content from the Middle East.

Same here Chris. I don't feel old enough when this happened as well. I was 6 years old going on 7 later in the year. Glad you liked it, this blew my mind when I first viewed it on Twitter.

 

Ah, a superb choice with Burai Fighter for the NES, I had a friend who invited me to play it and liked it so much that I use to trade my school lunches with him so I can borrow Burai Fighter for the week. Still a great trade IMO.
