recently got the andy robot with software, im trying to test it out, the motor will run forward and backwards at random while NOT plugged in. but when running the software, the robot stops and i cant get any command either in the joystick mode OR keyboard mode to work. any one got any info about this that can help get this thing running ? i checked all inner wiring its all good.

Next , will another kind of orange robot work on Atari version ? Name of company : QuickShot , Model : RobotArm SVI-2000. It has 2 joysticks port at the base.

Does the software you got seem to be the same disks that are posted in the first post?

its the official disk. shows the robot when it starts from editor load., when using the Run "D:demo.bas" it comes to a blue menu " andy the personality robots from axlon 1. joystick 2. keyboard 3. how to use.

Thanks. Yea, it sounds like the same disks that were posted above. Wish I could help with some suggestions. Let us know if you have any success.

actually im using a modern copy of the software, not the original disk.. might be making the difference.. i dont have the equipment needed to use the original 5" disk.

There was a boxed one I thought a few years ago on eBay that went for something like $500-600. I was bidding on it but thought it was cool but too rich for my blood.

I see one every couple of years on eBay.
