djdsl #1 Posted March 11, 2003 at one of the crooked pawn shops, i got the manager to open the glass case so i could get space shuttle, space master x-7, and a chopper command with a blue label. He says 'i got more games like that behind the counter' he takes out a dirty 8-track tape box. the ditry box contained some pacmans and tank plus's that mustve been owned by a 2600 fan turned hobo. one cart though had no label, cept for a tiny piece of red end label, with a fraction of a picture in white. i diddnt recognize it at all, so i brought it home. after 10 minutes of cleaning- turns out, its panda's exocet. good things come to those who brave the dirty box. anyone know if this had a graphic label of any kind, or just an end label ? sku_u #2 Posted March 11, 2003 After checking AA's database, it appears it only had an end label: http://www.atariage.com/cart_page.html?Sof...wareLabelID=

TheSmirk #4 Posted March 12, 2003 I've braved a few "dirty boxes" in my time, but never with as much luck as you had.....yeah, the coolest finds can sometimes be where you least expect them Damnit, why do I feel inclined to make some foul double-entendre about the "dirty box"? I digress....
djdsl #5 Posted March 12, 2003 ha yea. i got the same feeling from the pawn shop clerk when he lead me to the box. maybe it was the used porn videos behind the counter. ik
Godzilla #6 Posted March 12, 2003 my best dirty box find is a demolition herby, with barely any label left on it.
King Atari #7 Posted March 12, 2003 Great finds there. That's the good thing about labeless carts. They're probably common, but there's always that chance...
MegaManFan #8 Posted March 12, 2003 My best "dirty box find" so far is a Tomarc the Barbarian for $1. Near perfect label except for a small air bubble.
Warren #9 Posted March 13, 2003 Never had any "dirty box finds", but I did pick up a "Tooth Protectors" for $1. When a friend found the same game a few weeks later, I thought there must be trillions of them lying around (like KoolAid Man). What a rube I was....
