Yeah, YouTube is made exactly for such videos

I really can not make myself to write him there ... He don't know Atari forums, he don't know Google ... Maybe can not read ?

"Bring it to some service" would be only reasonable answer. Before he make it worse.

That's what they do normally... without a floppy it'll pissfart about trying to read a disk for 30+ seconds before showing the desktop.

 

My previous ST had a faulty drive, IIRC it took about 3 times longer then showed the desktop without floppy icon when it wasn't working properly.
