Price check: Green Beret cart for MSX

I have found thsi thing on a flea market, and another AA member is interested in it. I have never seen an MSX in my life, and I have no idea ow much these are worth. It's cart only, the label is in decent condition.

 

Anyone an idea?

As far as I know, it was released by Konami UK and is the only non-Japanese Konami release on cartridge. Supposedly it is a very crappy MSX port that makes the ZX Spectrum version look like gold in comparison, some people question why Konami even allowed it to be released.

 

I believe somewhere in the range of 9-13 Euros is a fair price both for you and the buyer. If you search eBay for recently ended auctions, you will find one loose and three complete cartridges that roughly are in line with my estimate.

6:34 has the MSX version and 12:27 the ZX Spectrum.

 

The MSX port doesn't LOOK that bad -- they tried some music in it anyway -- but the Spectrum version seems to play smoother.
