Now, I realize that playing these games without the joystick and paddles is a bit of a gyp, but these discs are great for educating your friends' and relatives' kids about what real video games are, without having to fiddle around with hooking up your dusty old 2600 console to their nice new TV. PS1 games, as you know, are compatible with PS2 and PS3.
