+RevEng #76 Posted October 3, 2014 Please don't change it so he appears back where you knocked him off. The Hulk popping out from 'nowhere', at least from the opposite area he appeared, definitely upped the ante. Seriously, gave me the "Oh, Sh..!" response when I saw him pop back in from the bottom. It was awesome. Maybe, if possible, make it so The Hulk appears on the side closest to where your player is located. Hah, the "closest side" it is.
Nerf Herder73 #77 Posted October 3, 2014 I have had OpenEmu downloaded on my computer for months and I think it's great, even if I mostly use it for NES homebrews/hacks. Is there a 7800 core that I can install? There is an experimental version of OpenEmu that includes several consoles not featured on the standard release. The 7800 is among those. https://github.com/OpenEmu/OpenEmu/releases
BalloonFighter #78 Posted October 4, 2014 Thanks Nerf Herder73! As expected, the experimental version is more buggy, but I can at least disable whatever I don't want and play this game and many other awesome 7800 homebrews!
YANDMAN #79 Posted October 5, 2014 Congratulations man, this is great i really dig it and would love a cart version, I love old school arcade style games.
MAC-42 #80 Posted October 9, 2014 Is it me, or does this game make Robotron seem as a placid afternoon with my lady at my side as we stroll along a gently babbling brook? This is the first chance I've had to look in on this seriously, RevEng, and I find it a brutal monstrosity that must be defeated. Probably by those with more skill than I have, but I'll try. Well done!
+RevEng #81 Posted October 10, 2014 Thanks for the kind words. I'm really stoked that so many people have responded well to my first 7800 game! More to come. I just need more hours in the day.
The Usotsuki #82 Posted October 10, 2014 This makes me wish I were actually competent as a programmer so I could get it up on the Apple ][+ (which had both Robotron and Crossfire). xD
+TrekMD #83 Posted October 10, 2014 I sure do hope you plan to release this in cart. It's an awesome game!

+RevEng #85 Posted March 30, 2015 The first post has an updated version of Salvo. I added a title screen, a two-stick mode, and support for high score tables. (saving to HSC, AtariVox, or SaveKey) Enjoy!

Zeptari1 #88 Posted April 2, 2015 Great looking game.Glad to see the updates still flowing out. I'd be interested in a cart release when finished. Reminds me of a similar game on the vic20 I had when I was a kid.

AtariKid81 #95 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Not crazy about the name, "Time Salvo". Should call it "Robotron II"! 👍 Edited July 27, 2015 by AtariKid81
+RevEng #96 Posted July 27, 2015 Not crazy about the name, "Time Salvo". Should call it "Robotron II"! While it's definitely inspired by William's games, I'm a fan of giving homebrews original twists and titles. The T:ME bit of the title is more or less a personal brand I'd like to continue with other titles. Feel free to just call it "Salvo" if it rolls off the tongue easier. jamessmith106 #100 Posted August 1, 2015 Really enjoyed a couple of games on this. Very good smooth, detailed graphics and explosions, too! Well done, RevEng. Count me in for a cart purchase for this; a twinstick 7800 game is nice as ROBOTRON: 2084 never got a PAL release here in the UK.
