After 31 years-lost OSS book found

Recommended Posts

Hello together!

Tera thanks to low.blow, which I nominate hereby : "Atari man of the year", we now have two books back, where rumors told, they never existed.

30 Days to Understanding BASIC XL-Bill Wilkinson and Diane Goldstein, 180 pages.

and

OSS BASIC XL-Reference Manual-1st Edition 1983, 143 pages.

The real McCoy! No reprint! 100 % OSS stuff! Both with OCR!

OSS.zip

So, remaining are just these artifacts:

Artifacts.pdf

and Atari is completely restored. :-))))

There are actually other Atari stuff that is still lost like the special Pilot they made for the Summer Camps. There was also a Microsoft Office type program that was never released for the 8-bits and a few science programs which I am forgetting the titles of at the moment.

I am going to have someone try and recover my copy of "Pilot II". I have no estimate for the timeframe, however.

I just found my copy of this book in with an old ebay purchase. :-) In that artifacts.pdf, is that a list of things missing? The guy I bought this stuff off of seemed to have a great deal of stuff. I can start looking.

Dear gozar!

Yes the artifacts are the only ones, who are missing. If they are digitized, then Atari is complete rescued for generations to come.

But please stay tuned, I am in contact with "good souls" from Atari and will bring out "Artifacts 2.0" very soon in a complete revised version.
