ColecoVision Chip ROM Dates

Has anyone ever taken apart any ColecoVision cartridges as to find out how old the ROM chips are in them?

 

Regarding the TI chips, there are date codes on them explaining the year and week made. For example, "8301" denotes 1st week of calendar-year 1983.

 

The reason I am presenting you with this question is so that I can find out when exactly Coleco started selling the 16K ROM version of Donkey Kong, as well as when the "For ColecoVision & Adam" variation label was first used.

I don't have a CV yet , but did snag some carts in lot that was water damaged .... the label was pretty brittle the layers of paper & adhesive were separating as I was trying to remove to access screws ... so label was lost but board seems to be in great shape which was an unknown to me ... some Atari carts in same lot were pretty rusted out

The one Motorola chip and the TI chip both have a reading "8231" which would mean the 31st week of 1982, or that of August 2-8, 1982. The second Motorola chip has 8232 on it to mean it was made the week after the other two chips, or the week of August 9-15, 1982. Your example is still rather early as it is a 24K ROM.
