Time Crisis 2 arcade cabinet questions

Recommended Posts

Guys (and the occasional gal),

It should be plain as the nose on my face that I LOVE TIME CRISIS 2! And as such, I need to own a cabinet of said game, clacky-guns and everything.

So, here's the issue. From what I can remember, there were two versions: the dual-screen version (which was one giant cabinet) and the single-player cabinet.

As this game is truly the most fun to play with two players, I can pick up two single cabinets. My hopes is to link them together, but to be honest, I'm not even sure such a thing is possible. Was there some type of link harness used to get the co-op mode? I recall a version on a ferry back in the day that had this setup but I may be wrong.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?....thanks in advance.

I can get you a working Time Crisis II similar in style shown in the first pic by racerx. Difference is, they're two discrete cabinets with pedestals (single player units) and joined via a link cable.

Where in this great wide world are you atarilovesyou??

This link is for a buddy who owns the separate cabinets already, so I'm trying to help him get them connected.

I'm on the west coast of Canada...close enough to the Mecca of arcade cabinets in California, but still too far to make transport costs worthwhile :D

It's that link cable that I'm looking for...and for a while I was thinking the two pedestals couldn't be connected, but if you know something I don't (and that's not too tough to do, lol!) then please let me know, or point me in the right direction! Much appreciated!
