Edit 6502 or Editor Assembler?

Recommended Posts

On eBay eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1813970214101?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=181397021410&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER], there is a light brown cart with the words Edit 6502 written on it. I compared this to my Edit 6502 cart and it looks more like the Editor Assembler instead.

My Edit 6502 cart is darker brown and doesn't use a screw to hold the case together.

My Editor Assembler (exact spelling on label) cart is the same color and does have the screw.

What do you think?

I just got a Edit 6502 cart yesterday, although my copy has a very nice condition label. However, I can tell that it was screwed together with the screw on the back side of the case. The brown casing is of similar color to what's in the listing. However, the front of the cart on the eBay listing has two slots that my copy doesn't. My copy of Monkey Wrench II has those slots, but that's a gray color.

I think there's a good chance this is a legit LJK cart; I'd guess there weren't that many companies with 8-bit cart molds and the small makers just bought what they could, with runs not being consistent color.

Did you also notice the somewhat more rare star raider in stead of star raiders cart. I had such a cart too once.

I've got one of those - chances are they had a label run that was just wrong and decided to use them anyway.
