racerx #1 Posted May 10, 2014 (edited) Grabbed a couple of pics today after I realized my interests overlapped. I wouldn't mind a Missile Command but have no real love for Defender. Edited May 10, 2014 by racerx
Clay #2 Posted May 10, 2014 Nice bring all 3 next year. Maybe get a spot were can have the jagfest next to your arcades

NeoGeoNinja #4 Posted May 10, 2014 All of those Jag CD games cost more than the cabinets Chances are, that beautiful looking GORF cab cost LESS than the Jag CD copy sat on the CP. Chances are, that beautiful looking GORF cab cost MORE than the Jag CD copy sat on the CP to ship/pick-up though
82-T/A #5 Posted May 11, 2014 Wow, those systems are in great shape! I've got a Missile Command and a Galaga. My Missile Command is about an 8 out of 10, but the Galaga is like, a working system, in a cabinet that's barely holding together.
racerx #6 Posted May 11, 2014 Chances are, that beautiful looking GORF cab cost LESS than the Jag CD copy sat on the CP. Chances are, that beautiful looking GORF cab cost MORE than the Jag CD copy sat on the CP to ship/pick-up though I've been able to pick all my machines up without having to resort to shipping. Unless it's something just super rare the $300-$400 to ship doesn't make sense. I've lost out on a couple cabs because I didn't want to ship them. Rick Dangerous #7 Posted May 11, 2014 (edited) Why is it so impossible to do a re print of gorf cd? It's a homebrew and someone must know who has the source code right? Let's kickstart that shit... Edited May 11, 2014 by travistouchdown
Paul Westphal #8 Posted May 11, 2014 You can find Gorf on the web and use Jiffi to make a .cdi of it.

82-T/A #11 Posted May 12, 2014 Please don't get my brag thread locked. Do discussions about Gorf get the threads locked? I know there was some kind of licensing disagreement, and that's why it wasn't released, but is there something else I'm missing?

Rick Dangerous #13 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) My work computer has no CD-R drive unfortunately, and my MacBook Pro is 6 years old and has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel. If someone would be willing to whip me up a copy of GORF CD, with the label, manual, and cover art, I would "make it worth your while" wink wink, nundge nudge. Please PM me if anyone has the time and energy to do this, I would be eternally in your debt(and I will pay you of course.) Please PM me if anyone has the time and energy to do this, I would be eternally in your debt(and I will pay you of course.) Hmmm... could be dodgy territory this as, tbh, the ACTUAL legitimate GORFs - as far as I'm aware - aren't really any different from the standard of item you are requesting here (re: printed CD-R etc)... Zerosquare #15 Posted May 13, 2014 Yup, I don't think discussing homebrew piracy is a good idea.
Rick Dangerous #16 Posted May 13, 2014 Well does anyone know who owns the rights then? Because I'd love to contact them directly and gently request they print another run, or if its okay if someone else makes a few copies for jag collectors who want it. If you can find the cdi on the web then the developer must have released it to the public domain, and I doubt time warner has the time to care about a jag CD hombrew
racerx #17 Posted May 13, 2014 Well, since my crossover collecting thread has been dragged irreparably OT...I'm not sure why TIme Warner would care about this game either way...it's a 3D Stooges production of a Bally Midway game. But any discussion about copying Gorf or Battlesphere is usually a surefire
Rick Dangerous #18 Posted May 14, 2014 Well I learned that lesson about battle sphere, now I suppose I have learned it about Gorf.... But seriously someone PM me

+Cobra Kai #22 Posted December 16, 2014 Did Radikal Bikers run on the same technology as War: Final Assualt? Or was it more primitive? I think I played that one in the arcades around the same time as W:FA.
Major Havoc 2049 #23 Posted December 16, 2014 I loved Radical Bikers and Surf Planet back in the day, near the end of Atari Games. I know Atari Games was only the publisher, but they were still fun arcade games.
