stevenhowlett #1 Posted May 16, 2014 Released for the Sinclair ZX81 back in early 1982, running on a 8 bit computer with a tiny 3.5MHz CPU and just 16K of RAM and yet this fantastic game in its day scared the living hoohaw out of me. Possibly the first example of a first person perpective game.

high voltage #4 Posted May 16, 2014 (edited) Released for the Sinclair ZX81 back in early 1982, running on a 8 bit computer with a tiny 3.5MHz CPU and just 16K of RAM and yet this fantastic game in its day scared the living hoohaw out of me. Possibly the first example of a first person perpective game. Sirius Wayout on A8 was 1982, and in colour. One year later on A8 was Sirius Capture the Flag, two player at the same time, also a first. Voyager I from Avalon Hill was also 1982 for A8 Escape from the Mindmaster on VCS was in 1982 as well: I'm pretty sure I saw a first person perpective game on Apple 2 in 1981 or earlier. There might have been a 3D crawler on Plato in the 70s, but I haven't searched that. Edited May 16, 2014 by high voltage
