stevenhowlett #1 Posted May 18, 2014 Just read this on GameSpot... 1982's Atari 2600 game Haunted House is making comeback. Atari announced today that a new version of the game is available now for iOS devices through iTunes. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/atari-resurrecting-1982-game-haunted-house-for-ios-devices/1100-6419652/

+xucaen #3 Posted May 18, 2014 Yup, Atari released it the other day on iPhone. IMO they're trying to cash in on a classic game. But I don't know.. maybe they have George Lucas Syndrome and this is the Haunted House they wanted to make.
Gabriel #4 Posted May 18, 2014 In what universe is that "Haunted House"? The same strange universe where that Star Raiders remake they made a few years back had anything whatsoever to do with Star Raiders.
ls650 #5 Posted May 18, 2014 Have the developers of this game ever actually played the REAL Haunted House?
+GroovyBee #6 Posted May 18, 2014 Have the developers of this game ever actually played the REAL Haunted House? Why should they? That game isn't in style for this week .
godzillajoe #7 Posted May 18, 2014 I didn't know there was a Haunted House remake released in 2010. And no surprise, it was pretty bad.

jaybird3rd #11 Posted May 19, 2014 The game shown in the article has nothing meaningfully to do with the Haunted House we know, and it has the same cookie-cutter cartoony style of most other mobile games. We'll still be playing the original long after this "remake" fades into oblivion, just like most of the other attempted "remakes" we've seen.
