+Adam+
@+Adam+: why second thread? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/225640-kaz-compo-2013 for me better way was add info in post linked by me? Hi Sikor, I was asked three days ago by Xeen to prepare the official thread on AtariAge. I have noticed your thread, but I believe the official thread needs to have more appropriate form: - the proper name of the contest in its title, - descriptive tags added, - more detailed description in the title - not everyone has to know what "Kaz Kompo" is: last year only 2 people voted on AtariAge (compare it to more than 60 votes on AtariOnLine at that time), so the contest is not widely recognizable here... let's hope it would slightly change this year ) I hope you'll understand. Sorry for any inconvenience. Greetings, Adam

+Adam+
Someone would please explain Sumator rules? You have to choose such path going from the entry field to the exit, that the points on the chosen fields sum up to the "GOAL" value. "YOU" shows how many points you have already collected. On the attached screenshot you may see an example of the right path just before finishing the level.

+MrFish
Daffy - by Gonzo What's the deal with this Daffy game? It starts up, and Daffy's energy immediate goes down 3 time in a row, then it shows me a game over screen. Then when I press a button, it reboots the disk, and the scenario starts all over again. Creature XL
In the package I downloaded I found (to my surprise) "HAR'em". It isn't mentioned in the lists I saw till now. If it is the longer version its Ok. I f not it's so 2012 I couldn't tell, I played it twice but couldn't beat the first level. Guess I was only good at it while developing BTW, how do you guys make videos of Atari games? I made some with Altirra, but these vids got large (4Gig) after just some minutes. Guess best bet is filming it from TV with a real camera? I really want to post a playthrough of "HAR'em" and/or "Heli in the Caves") Edited May 26, 2014 by Creature XL
TMR
BTW, how do you guys make videos of Atari games? I made some with Altirra, but these vids got large (4Gig) after just some minutes. Guess best bet is filming it from TV with a real camera? Using a camera usually looks terrible and if you're upping to YouTube it'll only get worse. For anything that takes a while to play through you should be expecting a big file regardless, that's why i have a swap drive in both of my desktops for these things. =-)
+Adam+
What's the deal with this Daffy game? It starts up, and Daffy's energy immediate goes down 3 time in a row, then it shows me a game over screen. Daffy - the latest version from 2013 was missing on AtariOnLine (look for Daffy.xex file at the same place now). The corrected version of the games package is HERE In the package I downloaded I found (to my surprise) "HAR'em". It isn't mentioned in the lists I saw till now. If it is the longer version its Ok. I f not it's so 2012 Well, it's complicated... This version (RC1) was actually included in games package for KazKompo 2012 voting. So it seems that last year people voted for the final release... Xeen made a mistake and added "HAR'em" to the 2013 package. Some people downloaded the package and gave it some points, so Xeen's decision is: it's legal to vote for this game this year (again). Sorry for all the confusion.

+Adam+
UPDATE: Xeen thought that "HAR'em" versions in 2012 and 2013 packages were different, that's why he wrote that voting for HAR'em was legal. However, after pointing out that the versions are the same, he changed his decision. Please do not vote for HAR'em this year.
