LidLikesIntellivision #3 Posted May 28, 2014 He can't delete me here! Having so many deleted posts in the Intellivision HSC, I think it's better to delete my participation. I had a map for Pitfall deleted (okay it could spoil the fun). Some posts I made to update ranks were deleted too. As I mentioned before: I also saw deletion of other members' posts here. No post had insults, bad language, politics, religion etc. Not spamming! Not anything wothy of deletion. Only posts that maybe, just maybe slightly touched the pure moderator supreme power. Do not post maps of games. It is only the moderator right to post them. Do not point to any other gaming site. This is THE gaming thread, if other should be linked, it is the exclusive moderator duty. Do not update players points in the lack of official ones. Should I say, only the moderator can do it? ------------- On the other hand: Each round ends when moderator decides it ends. Not when it should end as stated in the begining. This is especially true when the moderator didn't post a score before the original time limit. Abuse of authority. Each new round starts when... Okay, I fully understand life is more important. I always understood this and I usually gives my humble 'like' in every starting round as a simple thank for the work. But this is also killing the Intellivision HSC. We are entering game 6 and month 6. And we have rounds of 2 weeks.
LidLikesIntellivision #4 Posted May 28, 2014 I think, for me, it's time to play Intellivision in the main Intellivision forum.
scalpel #5 Posted May 28, 2014 I don't understand why your posts were deleted. It's weird. But for sure, we'll have some explanations... Anyway : you have to continue to play HSC ! We need you !
LidLikesIntellivision #6 Posted May 28, 2014 I like so much to play Intellivision and compare scores in AtariAge that I won't stop now. But I'm thinking about two options: Creating the "vote for the moderator" poll. Starting gaming rounds in the main Intellivision Forum. I don't like to see the sequence of 'I had a problem', 'I create a poll', 'I am a candidate for the hsc moderator' and eventually 'I win'. Bad way to be against authority... So, I'm more in the 2 option. P.S.: interesting there's no moderator for the main Intellivision forum while in the HSC there are 2. Cparsley and a banned AtariAge account. The banned one happened when Mister VCS (former Intellivision HSC moderator) started a poll for a new Colecovision HSC moderator...
LidLikesIntellivision #7 Posted May 28, 2014 In the Atari 2600, there's the "Harmony Games" played outside the HSC. It's for homebrews only and named after the Harmony Cart. There are fewer Intellivision homebrews, maybe a 'Psycho Games' would be fun, if Voltron likes it. But I still want to play regular Intellivision games in AA... I'm thinking... Fushek #9 Posted May 28, 2014 I think, for me, it's time to play Intellivision in the main Intellivision forum. I'm sorry to hear that you've had problems on here at all. I don't know all the details as I haven't followed it over there, but all that I can say is that I've competed against you in the Carol competition for the last couple of years and it's been an absolute pleasure doing so. (This despite the fact that you kicked my butt!) You've always been a class-act competitor.
LidLikesIntellivision #10 Posted May 28, 2014 Just updating as I guess everything is okay now. Thank you very, very much for restoring my deleted post. After all, since we're talking about Intellivision; censorship is 100 times more off topic than a link to another site that keeps high scores. All situation is like having a nice friend you talk with, play your favs Intellivision games with, share good memories but, out of suddenly, likes to punch your mouth sometimes when you may have said something off-topic. I'm glad my teeth aren't broken, so I can continue playing with you in a friendly way. Just don't delete people's post more. BTW. Congrats to Scalpel and darthkur for beating my high score in the first day! frogger.png My previous link should point to this table. You both are already on top of the mountain. LidLikesIntellivision #12 Posted May 29, 2014 SO, no one is allowed to post in the HSC or something? Ive had a thread deleted there before, I dont remember who deleted it now...... I really hope there won't be more posts deleted that way. I know of other posts and even a thread deleted, not yours. This was the only problem I had and I hope it won't happen again. .... .... not sure if I should say that to Spamolutionika...

Oscar G. #15 Posted May 29, 2014 He can't delete me here! I am sorry to hear about the problems in the HSC Thread. You have mentioned many of the reasons why I stopped participating there. Sad.
Oscar G. #16 Posted May 29, 2014 I'm sorry to hear that you've had problems on here at all. I don't know all the details as I haven't followed it over there, but all that I can say is that I've competed against you in the Carol competition for the last couple of years and it's been an absolute pleasure doing so. (This despite the fact that you kicked my butt!) You've always been a class-act competitor. I concur with Fushek. Lid is not only a great Intellivision player but also a fair and honest person. He is always contributing in a positive way in whatever Intellivision-related topic he participates (not only competitions) so it is sad to hear that some of his contributions have been deleted.
Ignorama #17 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) He deleted a complaim from me too, funny. But as Lid I use this thread, so hopefully he cant delete anything. To be honest, I first thought that the HSC is fun and challenging, but I quickly recognized that cparsley makes the rules to favour his results. Its sad that a organizator uses this cheap tricks to win the HSC's and its expecially sad since I dont think he is in need of such behaviour. As some guys mentioned we had delayed ending times more than one time, of course in every case because cparsley had no score yet. But its not just that fact which really annoys me, I also dont like these multiple points game which seems to appear more often is cparsley is far behind in the overall standings. I really would like to see someone else leads the HSC's in the future, because under cparsleys lead its no fair competition and so its simply not funny to participate. He abused his position more than one time and so I dont trust him anymore. I think I have proven my sportsman behavior several times last year by giving many adviced how to make good scores and I also have proven my skills by winning many rounds last season, but I have to admit that I think I am done with HSC under cparsley. As a opponent he is nice, but as a opponent who makes the rules? No, thats not very good. Edit: I really would like to participate in the future if someone else leads the HSC.
