Thrift store games for sale - portable and handheld games

All proceeds from the sale of these games will benefit Humble Area Assistance Ministries. I do volunteer work at their thrift store, sorting through their video game donations and figuring out how to best get some bucks for the organization. I get first dibs, you get good deals, HAAM gets money, the local community gets charity, everybody wins!

Since these were (mostly) thrift store donations, they come in a wide variety of conditions. Prices are set based on value and condition, and I will provide more details for any game you want. Except for the occasional still-sealed game, it is safe to assume these are all in "used" condition, to one degree or another. All games are tested before listing. Anything missing from or required to play a particular game will be noted in the listing.

This particular thread lists handheld and portable games. For console and computer games, see this thread. Games from both threads can be combined in a single package.

Prices do not include shipping. Only exact shipping will be charged; no handling fees. Asterisks are for my own record-keeping and do not affect the final price. Crossed-out items are pending.

Nintendo Portable Hardware and Accessories

*Game Boy Advance SP console, pearl blue model AGS-101. Unit is functional and in good shape. Screen has only a few very minor blemishes. Power supply included. Picture and additional details here. Asking $50.

*DSi console, white model TWL-001. Unit is in good physical shape, but will not stay powered on. Both screens have screen protectors that are well worn but can be replaced easily. Stylus included. Picture and additional details here. Asking $5 "for parts".

NEW: First-party power supply, model NTR-002 for original DS console.  Also works with the Game Boy Advance SP.  Asking $2.

First-party battery pack, model DMG-03-US/CAN. Power cord not included. Game Boy logo was rubbed off the case. Untested, presumed dry. Asking $1.

The blue-case edition of the Sega Game Gear. This console is in great physical shape with only a slight bit of scuffing on the case and on the screen, all of which are exaggerated by the camera flash in my opinion. Unfortunately, like so many old Game Gears, this one won't stay on for more than a second or so. Both battery covers are here. Asking $5 "for parts". Sold!

 

The Atomic Purple edition of the Game Boy Color. Unlike the Game Gear, this console works perfectly. Also opposite to the Game Gear, this one has many noticeable nicks and scratches on the screen, only a few of which were picked up by the camera. They're serious enough that a perfectionist would want to replace the screen, but they're not so bad that they detract from game play. The battery door is here. Asking $12. Sold!

 

Two loose cartridges of Pokémon: Blue Version for the Game Boy or Game Boy Color. Asking $10 each. Both sold!

 

Pokémon: Goldene Edition, loose for the Game Boy or Game Boy Color. This is the German release of Pokémon: Gold Version, with all in-game text in German. The cartridge plays flawlessly on a North American Game Boy Color. Asking $15. Sold!

Indigo Game Boy Advance, fully functional. The screen does have some scratches, but these do not distract from game play, and for the most part are only obvious in direct light. Asking $12. Sold!

Electronic Basketball. I'm not quite sure who made this one, or when it came out. It looks exactly like a Basketball game made by Electronic Readout Systems, and even shares the same model number, 003401, but this one doesn't have the company logo. There's a good chance it's an unauthorized clone. Whatever the case, it's in good physical shape, and it's fully functional. One of the 9V battery connectors has a minor bit of corrosion, but that doesn't stop the battery from making good contact. The display is a bit scuffed, but no worse than what you might expect from a handheld this old, and it doesn't get in the way of the action. The battery door is included. Asking $3. Sold!

 

Mattel Electronics Baseball, first released in 1978. This one is also in good shape for its age, a bit scuffed and dirty but still fully usable. The battery compartment and connectors are clean, and the battery door is included. Asking $7. Sold!
