Be careful though. This may be a good fix for klasko's problem, but what happens when you use this custom cable on an ADAM that doesn't have this twin disk drive problem?

 

 

True. That's why I will be testing this on my other 2 adams. I don't think it's a problem at all but testing will be done.

You know, I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but my Adam seems to be running better with this power supply. I don't know if its because the processor no longer needs the printer, and is faster as a result, or Adam has regained some power that the 30 year old printer had lost, but my computer seems faster, the graphics seem more vibrant, scrolling seems faster. I don know. I might be crazy. But I think this power supply enhances the whole ADAM experience. Does anyone else notice this? Keep in mind, I have been an Adam user since production in 1983, and I have used it a lot.

 

I believe that Adam runs better with Rey's power supply.

Got my power supply from Rey today and it looks fantastic! Very professionally made. You'd swear this was an official Coleco component! I have no way to test it so I trust it works. Very pleased to have gotten in on this and will be glad to use it when I finally do get an Adam again.

Just picked up an Adam (Colecovision Module #3) in Australia (had been imported from the USA)... and discovered this power supply. Can't wait for the next run, I can't afford the space the printer takes!!

No worries. I was thinking about hooking up my Adam, but chose not to as I don't feel like lugging out the printer. It got me thinking about my power supply order, so I figured I'd check the current order progress.
