+jedimatt42
Are there proper names for the prior work that can be found? Or do I have to meter out this thing to be able to use it?
+Ksarul
There is a row of pin connection tie points above the 244s that identify every single input and output signal on the board. I did that because earlier boards made it much too hard to find the signals (scoping them out was often the only option). The original TI board had no identification data at all on it. The Willforth Protoboard has a manual, which also includes a couple of project schematics to use with it. 2
+jedimatt42
Yes the labelling is very good. Makes 99%of the board obvious. The 74'125 is the hard part. Those chips have 6 inputs and 4 outputs. And the traces are pretty hard to see.
+jedimatt42
Mainbyte has a picture of the Willforth board... Another thread on atariage: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/268318-peb-proto-board-coleman-willforth-manual-projects-update/ -- well, that name doesn't show up on whtech either... -- Looks like Jim has helped me out in a PM. +Ksarul
Looks like I will need to scan my Willforth manual. . .as I don't think I've seen it online either.
