There is a row of pin connection tie points above the 244s that identify every single input and output signal on the board. I did that because earlier boards made it much too hard to find the signals (scoping them out was often the only option). The original TI board had no identification data at all on it. The Willforth Protoboard has a manual, which also includes a couple of project schematics to use with it.

Yes the labelling is very good. Makes 99%of the board obvious. 


The 74'125 is the hard part. Those chips have 6 inputs and 4 outputs. And the traces are pretty hard to see.
