DaytonaUSA #1 Posted June 11, 2014 I've wanted this game since I was a kid reading my Nintendo Power magazines religiously. At the tail end of the n64s life this game came out. I didn't have enough money at the time, and by the time I did, not only did I realize it was only at Blockbuster video (very much like Indiana Jones), but due to the n64s sudden death as soon as the word "GameCube" was uttered, all gone. That game is Stunt Racer 64. Until today I've NEVER seen a copy in the wild. Most auctions got for over fifty bucks even if the kabek has been torn off completely from the blockbuster label. I found mine today in a new store I ventured in. I got it for 20 bucks. Also got rampage and captain silver for the master system for five each, crash n burn for 3do for eleven, and star soldier on the n64 for four dollars. But by far this was the star of the pick up. I've never resorted to auctions on this game. I vowed to find it on my own. After all this time I got it. Can't explain how excited and happy I am. Pics up later.
+FujiSkunk #2 Posted June 11, 2014 Congrats! I recently acquired one of my NES "holy grails", Namco's version of Ms. Pac-Man. It's a nice feeling after you've been down to those last few that just don't seem to want to be found, at least not cheaply.
BydoEmpire #3 Posted June 11, 2014 Congrats on the find you've been looking for. Nothing like getting what you want in the wild. Also got rampage and captain silver for the master system for five eachThose would make me happy! Rampage is awesome and I always wanted Captain Silver, but never picked it up.

DaytonaUSA #5 Posted June 12, 2014 Thanks guys. Unlike Indiana Jones this game is actually very good. Sorry, I know everyone loves that game but I thought it was clunky. Stunt racer 64 is a hoot. It's simple, but the controls are a lot of fun. Doing drifts and performing flips is insanely gratifying. The backgrounds are good too. I will say though that crash n burn on the 3do might be even better. The fully textured polygonal backgrounds are stunning and honestly put stunt racer to shame graphically. Why some people still think its a fmv racer is beyond me. The game clearly isn't or the frames would get worse when slowing down as the movie was going slower. That and you can tell if youre used to 3do graphics what polygons look like verses something prerendered, and you can move side to side on the track which changes the perspective instead of the background staying the same no matter where you drive on the road. Heck it even says this on the back of the box. Haha. Any who. Having a great time.
