Turbo Laser Lynx
Ok, fhew! I was sure my ears couldn't be that wrong. Thanks for the info!
Twoface2
Samples used for extra effect and as speech sound effects are really fun though, like for example in APB. It'd be fun to see more of that in homebrew games. On the PC-Engine some games (Blazing Lasers f. e.) use the synth chip for music and add samples ONLY for drums, which sounds fantastic. Because the PC-Engine is an 8-Bit System too, this should be possible on the Lynx without wasting too much memory for samples. Has anybody ever tried this? Sage? Turbo Laser Lynx
Everyday you learn something new, it appears that the japanese version of sega master system indeed also has an additional FM sound chip! That's pretty exciting. It seems like not that many games supported it though: http://etim.net.au/smsfm/smsfm.html
