RandomPerson #6 Posted June 19, 2014 Too bad grooveybees 10 other games are not there.. His gauntlet and halloween game and icy were looking impressive.. Maybe one day.. UberArcade #7 Posted June 19, 2014 Super Cobra
Mayhem #8 Posted June 19, 2014 Yeah, I was wondering about Arkanoid too, as I didn't recall it being finished. Super Cobra is a hack of Scramble, so maybe it should be there. Ditto with the Pac Pollux carts. And Save Mary.
+GoldenWheels #9 Posted June 19, 2014 Jeez, I'd really like an Arkanoid on the 7800. Paddle games just feel "right" on Ataris. Crazy Brix is very fun.
NIKON #10 Posted June 19, 2014 I stand corrected on Arkanoid...it was not released on a cart. My goal was to put up titles that made it to cart.
+Mitch #11 Posted June 19, 2014 And Save Mary. Nah, that is a 2600 game. Mitch

AtariBrian #13 Posted June 19, 2014 Vaporware x10, all talk no action. x 20 now that hes pretending to release a long list of games for the Intellivision that will never happen ... judging from past results .
Mayhem #14 Posted June 19, 2014 Nah, that is a 2600 game. Mitch Albeit though doesn't the cart ONLY run on a 7800? So it's a curious dichotomy.
CPUWIZ #15 Posted June 19, 2014 Albeit though doesn't the cart ONLY run on a 7800? So it's a curious dichotomy. Not a homebrew though, all that was done is code hacks, to use the RAM of the 7800, instead of the SARA chip in the proto.
AtariLeaf #16 Posted June 19, 2014 Wait, Super Circus Atariage has made it to cart?
Wickeycolumbus #17 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) Albeit though doesn't the cart ONLY run on a 7800? So it's a curious dichotomy. I recall hearing about a hacked version for the 7800 that makes use of the extra RAM instead of using a superchip. The actual game is for the 2600 though. Edit: sorry, those last couple posts showed up as I was typing Edited June 19, 2014 by Wickeycolumbus
8th lutz #18 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) x 20 now that hes pretending to release a long list of games for the Intellivision that will never happen ... judging from past results . I am not completely sure about that because people already gave Groovybee their money for the 2 intellivision games that he had a pre-order list. Mars Mini Games and Rocketeer were the two games people paid a pre-order for and they were $50.00 each before the pre-order was closed January of this year. He did not ship the games yet that people pre-ordered from him. I don't think he would want to pretend to release 2 games that people pre-ordered for because of what he could face from a legal and reputation standpoint since people actually gave him money before the games were completed. +iesposta #19 Posted June 20, 2014 Wait, Super Circus Atariage has made it to cart?It was only a few special carts, as this is an XM game, if I remember correctly. Along the lines of Bentley Bear. (But with CPUWIZ boards Bentley Bear can be stand-alone, if it is made with a POKEY.)

Yeah no one has ever taken money for a project on Aa and failed to deliver and then faced serious consequences. But that being said he has put a crapload of effort into these "vaporware" games I cant think of any reason why he would never want to release them and amaze us all with his "supergames" Maybe he likes the naysayer crowd?? (But with CPUWIZ boards Bentley Bear can be stand-alone, if it is made with a POKEY.) That's a shame. Circus Atari is my favorite 2600 game. Was looking forward to this release. DracIsBack #24 Posted June 20, 2014 x 20 now that hes pretending to release a long list of games for the Intellivision that will never happen ... judging from past results . I'm disappointed too, but it's kind of a low blow guys. I have a ton of "experiments" on my Cuttle Cart from many people that never turned into games. It's not like any of these people Homebrew for $250,000 a year ... they do it for their own amusement, not out of any obligation to anyone but themselves. I liked Apple Snaffle and many of Groovy's other works in progress. Hope he decides to come back to them someday.
godzillajoe #25 Posted June 20, 2014 I don't understand pre-ordering games that aren't finished. Some people seem like they'd be happy with an empty cart and box just to say they have it. When they are actually being manufactured that's when you do a pre-order. Dropping $40 on a screen shot, you get what you deserve.
