Playing A8 games using a mouse on Altirra

Hi, why usually use Atari800XLWinPlus and its simple to set the playing using mouse.

Now with my new WindowsXP tower I don't know why the emulator record video only has one only type of video recording. This .avi does only sound on Windows Media Player and in the PowerPoints where I want to add those videos but I also load it into VLC player that only play them black/grays.

Using Altirra and choosing the right settings they play good in all but the games I want to record are shoot'em'ups that only way I can play them its using the P.C. mouse but in all the pre-defined on Altirra I don't get it.

How? I tried to even add "Mouse -> Joystickick (port1)" but no way.

 

Anybody here can help or what old version of Atari800WinPlus had those different frames/video compression? This is because these ones I could got the .avi running but now I had to load all emulators again because all on the old tower disc its lost forever.

You can use the mouse to emulate the paddles, but not a joystick.

Thanks, so I'll have to find older versions of Atari 800WinPlus...
