sku_u #5 Posted March 18, 2003 There was one across the street from me this weekend. The guy was charging between $10 and $20 for common NES carts
joeybastard #6 Posted March 18, 2003 It should be starting up here on LI soon. It was real dry around here last year though. I barely found anything at garage sales last year.

Mikau #9 Posted March 20, 2003 One time I found a Zelda wristwatch game for 50 cents. It works fine, with a battery that I had to buy. The latch broke, so I can't wear it, not that I would want to.
Keir #10 Posted March 21, 2003 Garage sale season around where I live won't start for a couple of more months. Same here, but I can't wait! I haven't found any good "classic" stuff at yard sales in a long time, but I'm hoping to find tons of Genesis. Now that GameStop is phasing out Genesis, there should be lots of it cheap at yard sales.
raindog #11 Posted March 29, 2003 hmmm, it's 65 degrees here today and cloudy, perfect tagsaling weather and now that i live in beautiful suburban hell it should be easy to find some but rain is threatening
AtariDude #12 Posted March 30, 2003 Well I finally got lucky and found someone selling some Sega Genesis games at a yard sale. I got the following games: WeaponLord (Loose) The Adventures of Batman and Robin (Loose) Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Loose) Wacky Worlds Creativity Studio (Loose) Bubsy (Loose) Gargoyles (Loose) Taz in Escape from Mars (Cartridge in the case but no instructions) Contra: Hard Corps (Cartridge in the case but no instructions) NBA Jam (case only - has Wimbledon Championship Tennis cartridge inside) Jurassic Park CD And one game that I don't recognize. The name on the cartridge for the company is NTDEC and it has 42 names on the back (maybe games?). Got it all for $15. The kicker is that I don't even own a Sega Genesis system yet but I did win one on Ebay so in a week I will get to test to see if any of the games work. Scooterb23 #13 Posted March 30, 2003 Today would have been a great day to go...about 40 degrees and raining...people are usually willing to give stuff away so they can get back inside. And I had to work AGAIN (how hard is "I do not want to work on Saturdays" to understand?????)
