having trouble working with sounds

I read up on RT's bas file explaining each part of audio on the 2600, and I kinda understand everything that's going on, but I can't get this little experiment here to work, can someone take a look at it?

What did you want it to do? It compiles and runs for me as is.

Yeah it compiles, but its a black screen and completely silent.

Turn up the volume? I heard it fine.
