SainT
Is there any interest in a memory card driven Lynx multi-cart? I looked into doing this a while back but never got around to going any further. If there's interest I'll see what I can do. TrekMD
Yep, I'd be interested. Would it function like the Harmony does on the 2600 or the Everdrive carts work on the Genesis?
Wayne2072
Is there any interest in a mini-sd driven Lynx multi-cart? I looked into doing this a while back but never got around to going any further. If there's interest I'll see what I can do. Please count me in, as well.
Hyperboy
One here if my thumbs up didn't insinuate that.
SainT
Ok, cool, I'll see what I can do. I was thinking along the lines of a menu to select the rom from the memory card the execute that. I'll look into it in more detail now... LX.NET
Yes, I would be interested in more than one. Two at least, more if the price is right. It will help in a lot of ways during development (of ComLynx games).
SainT
Yeah, I've done this kind of thing before. Just as a bit of background, I've most recently been making new hardware for the Enterprise (an obscure British micro from the '80s) including internal RAM expansion and memory card interface featuring a custom designed Z80 <> SPI interface CPLD. So I'm happy with verilog, programmable logic devices, microcontrollers and all that sort of thing. I don't see any real problems with this project, other than controlling reset as there is no reset line on the cart port. I have a cunning plan, which may or may not work, which I will test later tonight. If that works then it should be pretty plain sailing. Tempest
Will this cart hold every game or is it limited in some way?

I'm interested in both the Enterprise upgrades, as well as the Lynx SD card.

We've been waiting for this for years, the only cards produced are load a game at a time. Nothing with a flash card. Will this cart hold every game or is it limited in some way? He mentioned SD card (mini/micro) so you'd have to think it would.
