+nanochess
Retro gamers take note, the real bargains and steals in our hobby are not on eBay or car boot sales, but in... property? As of recent one gamer's relative invested in a Japanese building, only to uncover a time capsule of arcade gaming. Once inside, the new owners were shocked to find two floors of decade long neglected arcade machines. http://www.retrocollect.com/News/property-purchase-in-japan-uncovers-disused-classic-arcade.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+RetroCollect+%28RetroCollect+-+Retro+Gaming+%26+Game+Collectors+Community%
Atariman
Okay, now that is awesome. It is the kind of thing I could easily see happening in one of my dreams at night!
Troy_Whelan
Incredible! Beyond the obvious of getting the unexpected arcade, I especially like the structure of the cabinets and the screen, very lucky people will get those mint condition gems. Better to sell like he is doing rather than open an arcade and let people trash them.
Shawn
I think it looks like a good half of them are just pachinko machines but still, amazing find.
ventrra
I think it looks like a good half of them are just pachinko machines but still, amazing find. I don't think I saw any pachinko machines... I saw plenty of the machines set up for playing mahjong, though. And since I like mahjong, It would probably have been hard for whomever was in there to drag me out very easily.
