Flojomojo #1 Posted July 2, 2014 In the iOS App Store now. Free with no in app purchases. Hashteroids, Centipup, Take-out, all realized at least as well as Atari's Greatest Hits. http://toucharcade.com/2014/07/01/dennys-atari-remix-released/
BigO #2 Posted July 11, 2014 Just saw these. Available for Android, too. But, it was insisting that I sign in to some PlayStore thing and pushing me to create a google+ account. It's no longer on my phone.
+SabertoothRetro #3 Posted July 14, 2014 (edited) I just saw this too. What a weird mash-up. http://mashable.com/2014/07/07/atari-denny-s-game/ Edited July 14, 2014 by atariLBC
+save2600 #4 Posted August 9, 2014 Was about to ask WTF?! when I caught this on the Yahoo! Mail homepage.
Reaperman #5 Posted August 9, 2014 (edited) Ewww. it's modern, sellout, cease and desist atari. Good to know they're putting those licenses that they fight so hard for to good use by pushing the low-rent pancake house in the motel 6 parking lot. Granted I'd probably be slightly more amused if I wasn't so good at holding grudges. Edited August 9, 2014 by Reaperman
funknflow5200 #6 Posted September 12, 2014 I've got to say - the versions of these games are actually pretty fun - especially as they are free. I've been pretty obsessed with "centipup" for the past few days, finishing #6 in the contest. It got pretty heated. I'm all for Atari in any way shape or form these days, call me crazy. funknflow5200 #7 Posted September 16, 2014 I am actually going to be in the finals in Vegas for this next Tuesday. Feel free to cheer on a fellow Atari age member. Hopefully y'all don't think I'm too big of a sellout. Sounds fun though.

funknflow5200 #9 Posted September 25, 2014 Well, I took home the big prize! It was super fun and the atari arcade cabinet is amazing looking and they did a great job. i personally am going to enjoy this new piece of Atari branded hardware, which is one of a kind! Also, the championship belt is AMAZING!!!
funknflow5200 #10 Posted September 25, 2014 Not sure if the pic worked, but that's the "centipup" cabinet on the left. At least atariage represented!
BigO #11 Posted September 25, 2014 (edited) Yep, I can see the picture. Good job! So, you won the cabinet and the belt? More pictures of the cabinet would be cool. I've been considering making a mini-cab with an old smartphone. I assume the cabinet was using some giant-ish version of an iPad or Android device. funknflow5200 #12 Posted September 25, 2014 I'll post plenty more pictures when I get the cab next week. It was running some sort of android box hooked up to a 21" monitor? It is a full size cab. I got the trip, a grand, the belt, and the cabinet! not a bad haul for being an OK centipede player.

Well, if I had entered that contest I can assure you that things would have been different . . . you would have beaten one more person.
funknflow5200 #15 Posted September 25, 2014 the event is archived at www.twitch.tv/dennys if you'd like to see something full of atari and denny's logos. there's also a cool video on the creation of the cabinets. The whole thing almost didn't go off, it was so hot and the sun was beating down that equipment was malfunctioning.
Flojomojo #16 Posted September 30, 2014 Not sure if the pic worked, but that's the "centipup" cabinet on the left. At least atariage represented! The belt is wicked awesome, congratulations. Can someone explain the "centipup" name to me? I guess it's supposed to be some kind of pun or reference, but I don't know to what it refers. Are "pups" = hush puppies or something? funknflow5200 #17 Posted September 30, 2014 The belt is wicked awesome, congratulations. Can someone explain the "centipup" name to me? I guess it's supposed to be some kind of pun or reference, but I don't know to what it refers. Are "pups" = hush puppies or something? I had no idea either before, in fact, I hadn't eaten in a denny's for probably a decade before I wound up there before the event. They sell "pancake puppies", like sweet hushpuppies.. pretty good, but awfully filling. The centipup machine arrives today and i'm pretty excited. Likely will clone the CPU and put some version of mame in the cab as well.
funknflow5200 #18 Posted September 30, 2014 of course, I will not be modifying anything that is not plug and play.

Cynicaster #20 Posted October 19, 2018 Heh, I still have this silly app installed on my phone. Just checked, it still works.
Flojomojo #21 Posted October 19, 2018 Huh, I figured it was long broken ... it's pulled from the store, but is still in my download list. It's from 2014 so the resolutions aren't up to date, and it doesn't seem to always refresh right, but it starts and I guess it's 64-bit.
