C64 Ultima IV Question About Box Contents

Recommended Posts

I recently took my Commodore 64 Ultima IV box from my parents' house, and I thought I had a CIB copy.. but now I'm not so sure.

The box itself says: "Includes: 2 Game Disks, Cloth Map, History of Britannia, Reference Card, (Metal) Ankh, Book of Magic"

Going through the box, I have all these.. however, in some completed listings on eBay, I also see a "Way of the Avatar" booklet? I have no idea why I wouldn't have this in mine if it was included (I still have notecards and papers with tons of notations and the product registration card, partially filled out)...

So other than wondering why I wouldn't have that in the box, why isn't it listed on the box contents along with the other stuff I wrote above?

This was something I was going to post in the Marketplace, but I'm just trying to make sure I'm accurate when I post the listing.

ANY help is appreciated!

Sounds about complete to me. I also have C64 version without the hint book. I do have the hint book for U5 and the extremely rare hint book with C64 errata for U6 as many things differed from when U6 clue book went to print and when C64 version was finally finished.

PS what version of metal ankh? The large pewter ankh or the small brass ankh? I have no idea why there's different version but I wanted to get the brass version just to have it.

I didn't think the ankh was "large" but I don't know the size comparisons... mine is definitely not the brass one.
