AtariAgeHelp
Hello, I found this at a garage sale. Is this a Sinistar Prototype? Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Edited July 6, 2014 by AtariAgeHelp
GroovyBee
Do you have photos or a video of the game on the cart in action?
Bodyshots
Of all the new members that ever join, post a single picture of a rare cart and never include gameplay, how many of those have ever been true?
GroovyBee
The boxed Air Raid springs to mind
bennybingo
I would guess it is a repro. The ROM is available and has been for some time now. In my experience, I have never seen an Atari proto or lab loaner with a Dymo label on it…I have seen a ton of repros though labeled in such a manner.

CPUWIZ
It's from an early Best Electronics warranty sticker, if I had to take a guess. Here is a Best Asterix I have...

bennybingo
Well….does that make it a real proto, a Best proto or a REAL Best proto?
CPUWIZ
That would make it a Best proto, with a real prototype board inside, but the content of the EPROM's were not programmed by Atari and the stickers on the EPROM windows are likely absent and not like original protos, which have typed or handwritten stickers on the EPROM window. The board inside this cart would then look something like this (either greenish or blueish): I would suggest cracking it open, not that hard to do. CPUWIZ
Just like I said. You got a $50 cart there.
