Microprofessor
Hi, for a lecture about the Atari VCS game "E.T." I need a photography of the cartridge's circuit board (upper side with the ROM chip). Does anyone know where I can find one or can anybody take a picture of it and post it here for me? THANKS! µP

+Random Terrain
noone? You want it by noon? No one can do that. Noon has passed. I have a couple E.T. carts, but I'm not going to open one of them. E.T. is one of the easiest Atari 2600 carts to find, so it shouldn't be too hard to buy one. People are even selling them at Amazon.com.
freewheel
I don't even know that you really need an ET cart to show the internals. Most of the internals I've seen have been very generic. I'm looking at an Asteroids right now that even had a metal shield over the ROM chip, with nothing distinguishable at all on it. The ROMs aren't exactly labelled with the game or anything, at least not that I've ever seen (admittedly I've only opened a dozen or so over the years). A simple Google Image search for "Atari cartridge circuit board" or similar should suffice.

Goochman
If you use Google Images there is a blurry picture of an ET cart open - its actually on this board somewhere.

freewheel
Ah, that brings back memories. I was such an 80s kid. My 9th birthday pictures have me blowing out the candles on a Pac-Man themed cake. Followed by pictures of me opening up my brand-new Star Wars (ESB) figures, with a Coleco tabletop Pac-Man in the background. Such a stereotype!
